1. Agreement to these terms

By engaging TradeFront to provide services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply together with any project proposal, quote, or written agreement we provide.

2. Definitions

In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to TradeFront, a sole trader business in the United Kingdom. “You” refers to the person or business engaging us to provide services. “Services” refers to the website, email, branding, or related services described in our proposal or quote.

3. Services

We provide professional website design, email setup, branding, and related services for tradespeople. The exact scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and fees will be agreed in writing before work begins. We will perform the services with reasonable skill and care.

4. Pricing and payment

Prices will be set out in the agreed quote or proposal. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due as follows:

• A deposit may be required before work begins. The amount and due date will be stated in the quote.
• The balance is due on completion or as agreed in the payment schedule.
• Ongoing services (such as hosting or maintenance) are billed in advance unless agreed otherwise.

Late payments may result in delayed delivery or suspension of ongoing services.

5. Refunds

Deposits are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. If you cancel the project before work begins, we may refund the deposit at our discretion. If you are unhappy with the service, please contact us so we can discuss a fair resolution.

6. Your responsibilities

To allow us to deliver the services efficiently, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information, content, and feedback in a timely manner
• Supply any logos, images, text, or other materials required for the project
• Ensure you have the right to use any materials you provide
• Respond to our requests and review work within reasonable timeframes
• Make payments in accordance with the agreed schedule

Delays caused by failure to provide required information or feedback may extend the project timeline.

7. Intellectual property

Upon full payment of the agreed fees, ownership of the bespoke work we create for you (such as the website design and custom graphics) will transfer to you. We reserve the right to use generic code, techniques, and processes developed during the project for other clients.

You grant us a licence to use any materials you provide solely for the purpose of delivering the services. You confirm that you own or have permission to use these materials and that they do not infringe any third-party rights.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or in connection with the services will not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the services giving rise to the claim.

We will not be liable for any loss of profits, business, revenue, or data, or any indirect or consequential losses, even if we were advised of the possibility. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Confidentiality

We will keep confidential any business information you share with us that is clearly sensitive and not publicly available. We will only use it for the purpose of delivering the services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement if the other party materially breaches these terms and fails to put things right within a reasonable time. On termination, you will pay for all work completed up to the date of termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
